We used to say that Frankenmedia is a creative design studio, who provide web technology services and graphic design. These days, we simply say we want to help small businesses and small players to understand what is possible, and offer a no-BS approach to getting your website and online presence (meaning SEO and social media) to be what you need and help you make it effective by showing you the ropes. We use design to craft your message and motivate people to do what you want them to, it's not as evil as it sounds, we promise.
Our pet peeves when it comes to website building and SEO are too numerous to list, so let's just say that we help you figure out this whole branding thing, create a great brand image through your logo and website, and help get to the core of who you are as a company so that you can go forth and conquer!
Frankenmedia is run by a mother, business owner, graphic designer, technical consultant and blogger (in one package). We know how tough it can be to juggle a business with family, and would be especially thrilled to help work-at-home mothers and female entrepreneurs.
If you're looking to start a website-based business or make money online without getting sucked into scams, we can help you put something together to get you off to the right start. We also advise on the technical aspects of getting a website, such as hosting and domains.
We are based in Vancouver, BC, but you can be anywhere (but if you happen to be on a beach somewhere warm with reasonably-priced cocktails, we may have to schedule a meeting).
Why the name Frankenmedia?
The name Frankenmedia was inspired by the idea of fusing technology with functionality and aesthetics to bring a solution to life, hence our slogan “Bring solutions to life.”
The novel Frankenstein was written by a woman, Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, about a scientist who brought a monster to life. The founder of Frankenmedia is a woman who once resided in Wollstonecraft, and happens to have a penchant for old monster movies and romantic poets.
